Mother Nature Ministries wants to connect people and organizations around accessible nature, fertile soil and affordable food. We are building an inclusive, internationally oriented network in which people with different religions, cultural backgrounds and philosophies can work together on concrete initiatives.
Our core values
Attention to life, human dignity, cooperation and willingness to learn are our starting point. We want to treat the earth and each other with care. This also means that we are clear about our inspiration, our plans and the results of our work.
What we do
MNM wants to develop initiatives around soil restoration, food production, food forests, nature experience and education. We seek cooperation with growers, nature organizations, researchers, families and local communities. We start small, monitor implementation, and adjust our approach based on what we learn.
Food security: working now for later
Food security is a core topic within MNM. Research into future food demand, warming, soil health and agroforestry provides starting points for our work. [1] [3] [4] [8] MNM wants to translate that knowledge into carefully tested local initiatives, with attention to affordability and access to food. Our projects
The basic plans include pilot sites for fertile land and food production, food forests, accessible nature visits, affordable parks and educational activities. Doggerland is a concept for international cooperation around land and food. For each initiative we want to indicate what the goal is, what phase it is in and what next step is necessary.

We want to determine a research question and initial situation in advance. During a test we monitor soil and water, edible harvest, natural values, labor, costs and accessibility. We compare the results, adapt the approach and share what we learn.
Together we make a difference
We want to collaborate with existing nature organizations and make each other's activities visible. People can contribute with knowledge, experience, a suitable location, a research question or a practical idea. An initial conversation helps determine what suits the development phase of MNM and the capabilities of those involved.
